Your new company
Established for over 17 years this organisation has grown year on year to become a £35 million pound turnover company, with strategic growth plans to take their turnover to £50 million in the next 2 years. They are leading contractor working on high end refurbishment and fit out projects across London and the South.

Working with some of the more prestigious private and public sector landlords, they uniquely operate their business to offer an extensive range of construction services - most contractors sub out, this allows them to have better control of costs which means more profit on their jobs and be cash rich. Project values range from £50k - £20 million.

You will be sitting in a team of 12 Estimator's, so will be a support to the lesser experienced and junior estimators.

Your new role
The role of the Estimator will be to; support the generation of profitable tenders for authorisation and submission in order to maximise order pipeline, estimate the costs of projects in order to meet or exceed customers' requirements, support the fulfilment of the pipeline of contracts safely on time, and to the required quality, ensure the estimating function provides a full commercial contribution to the organisation, support the process of assessing, preparing (including post-tender activities), validating, adjudication and final submission of tenders on time, support the project teams to deliver contracts safely, on time, and to the required quality while minimising costs.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have proven experience within an Estimating role, taking projects from initial enquiry, first principles through to handover, working on projects with contract values of up to but not limited to £10 million. The ideal candidate would have experience of working within a main contractor environment. You should also be prepared to manage people and have leadership experience.

In return as the Estimator, you can expect a salary of up to £75k plus benefits
