Maintenance Engineer (shift - M-F)

My Client is one of the leading suppliers of their product in the World, and are committed to
improving the environment and also, investing in their Business and the people they employ.
They are now looking to recruit an experienced Shift Maintenance Engineer to ensure the optimum efficiency of all plant and machinery during the shift, delivering the highest product safety and quality with minimum downtime to enable maximum through put without compromising health and safety.
The Role: Maintenance Engineer (shift - M-F)
Carry out routine and Planned Preventative Maintenance
Identify the cause of plant or equipment failure and carrying out remedial repair work in a safe, speedy and efficient fashion.
Source and negotiate appropriate short-term equipment supply.
Respond to requests from Shift Production Managers.
Maximise uptime on production equipment
Drive through continuous improvements
Advise of any modifications to plant, equipment or procedures that would improve product quality and/or throughput or reduce operating costs.
Skills / Qualifications / Experience: Maintenance Engineer (shift - M-F)
Qualified Electrical Engineer
17th / 18th Edition
Mechanical knowledge
Knowledge of Scada
Experienced with production line maintenance
Experience of working in FMCG Industries
Pro-active
Self motivated
Mon - Friday - days and nights - weekly rotating
