Forklift / Warehouse operative

Our client based in Medway city estate, has a long history in supplying the mechanical services, drainage, fire protection and industrial process markets with a wide range of products from our national network of strategically-located branches. We supply a huge range of industries. They are recognised as one of the UK’s leading distributors to the building services and process industry markets, providing market-leading products from a network of strategically located branches serving all the major conurbations and surrounding territories.
Role responsibilities
• Unloading and loading vehicles using forklift truck (if applicable)
• Reporting damage
• Pick goods accurately from order documentation
• Participates in stock takes if required
• Warehouse ‘house-keeping’ – ensuring the environment is kept clean and tidy
• Confident communicator
• Be a reliable and trustworthy member of the team
• Act in a friendly and courteous manner
• Always act professionally
• Be positive and proactive in everything you do
A nationally recognized valid certificate to operate a Counterbalance forklift would be an advantage and ideally some experience in the warehouse environment. Heavy manual labour will be involved within this fast pace role.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 07:30 start, 50 plus a week, however flexibility is required within this role.
