JUNIOR IT ENGINEER
Junior IT Engineer - £17,000, Ashford.
My client, a bespoke software development house and managed service provider are looking for a Junior IT Engineer to join their Ashford operations.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get their foot in the door to the IT industry and be give the training required to be successful.
The main purpose of the role is to provide a high level of 1st line and 2nd line support for computers, terminals and applications within the business. As well as that, on a day-to-day if you are not on the phone, you can expect to set up computers/networks and replace faulty hardware when necessary.
Below are some of the key responsibilities of the role: -
* Being first point of contact for all calls made to the IT service desk
* Aiming to resolve issues first time around through either email, over the phone or by remotely logging into their account
* Keep necessary teams/people notified of progress of tickets that have been logged with the service desk
* Ensuring company compliance standards and ITIL procedure is always followed
As a Junior IT Engineer with this company, you will be rewarded with a basic salary of £17,000. You will also be entitled to a great range of benefits.
