A Private Client and Trust Controller is required to join a practice that is renowned for quality and ambition - an organisation that continues to expand throughout the South East.
Based in Canterbury, the role will be to manage an expansive portfolio of private clients - working closely with senior internal stakeholders, and developing a team of staff beneath you.
The chief remit of the role will be manage all private client tax needs - the postholder will review tax returns and accompanying workings as drafted by other staff members; obtain missing information etc. from the client, third parties or elsewhere in the firm as appropriate; complete posting for complex or missing areas of tax returns or oversee this; prepare complex capital gains computations; and
The successful applicant will qualified CTA or ATT and hold at least three years post qualification experience (without this, CVs will not be entertained for submission). Tangible experience of working within a similar, tax-centric role will be essential.
You will be self-motivated, ambitious, and eager to learn. Expert communication skills are required as you develop the team around you.
