Based in Rochester, Must Have Ideas Ltd is a friendly, small but rapidly growing ecommerce company selling household, beauty, garden and pet products to our growing customer base in the UK and USA.

We are looking for a Logistics Assistant to join our small but busy friendly team to help us keep up with growing demand for our innovative products. you will be responsible for ordering products from our suppliers around the world and ensuring they are delivered to our warehouse on time.

This is a part time role of between approximately 20 and 25 hours per week, depending on what works for you. for the right person, we can be flexible with the hours to fit around your other commitments.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Negotiating with suppliers (both overseas and in the UK) and placing stock orders, all the time ensuring the best quality
• Dealing with freight forwarders to organise the shipment of orders
• Assisting in sourcing new products and finding new suppliers for existing products
• Monitoring stock levels and sales forecasts to ensure orders are placed at the correct time
• Planning and recommending payment schedules
• Ensuring accurate lead times and price negotiations
• Stock lead time management – ensuring stock is delivered on time and to schedule

You must:
• Be well motivated, enthusiastic and a good team player
• Have very good attention to detail
• Computer literate
• Experience in a similar role
