Our client is currently seeking a Finance Officer for an on-going temporary assignment in Canterbury. Reporting into the Finance Manager you will be responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of all financial controls within the operation. There is a high possibility of this role turning permanent for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Purchase ledger - processing of invoices
- Complete payment runs
- Bank and payment reconciliations
- Sales ledger
- Ensure accuracy of VAT codes
- Support month end
- General ledger reconciliations
- Data extraction for financial reporting
Profile:
- Previous experience in an all-round Finance Officer role
- AAT studier/qualified would be desirable
- Ability to work within a fast-paced organisation
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
On Offer:
Between £21000 and £23000 equivalent. To be considered for the role you must be available immediately or on short notice.
