Insurance Broking Assistant
City of London
Permanent - salary to £25,000
An opportunity to broaden your industry market knowledge and develop new technical skills.
Our client is an independent niche broker who are leaders in providing specialist insurance cover to individual GPs / Dentists / Vets / Opticians / Physiotherapists and practices.
The purpose of the role will be to provide effective technical administration and data entry in order to support the brokers and directors. Below is a brief summary of the initial duties, but the scope and complexity of tasks will develop and expand as your understanding and knowledge grow.
- Contacting clients and collating information
- Scanning documentation
- Entering client and risk information onto ACTURIS system.
- Completing claims forms
- Liaising with Claims Managers
- Co-ordinating policy renewal process
- Maintaining paper and digital filing
The Successful Candidate will possess;
Knowledge & Experience:
*Customer Service experience
*Data Entry experience
*Knowledge of Acturis preferred but not essential
*Experience within the Insurance industry.
Skills:
*Good attention to detail
*Be a team player
*Be flexible and adaptable
*Be able to prioritise own work
*Have a methodical approach
*Be able to work independently
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Be organised and efficient
