Salary up to £23,000
My client is looking to recruit an experienced Purchase Ledger to join their team as soon as possible on a full time permanent basis. The chosen candidate will be joining a small and welcoming accounts team, working Monday to Thursday 8:30AM - 5PM with an earlier finish on a Friday at 4:30PM. The salary will be dependent on experience, offering up to 23K per annum.
Main Responsibilities:
* Documenting purchase invoices from suppliers.
* Processing purchase ledger transactions and ensuring that the suppliers of the company are paid within agreed payment terms.
* Preparing and running both suppliers and BACS payments.
* Overseeing and ensuring correct supplier account information (contact details, bank details etc.)
* Coding and data entry of purchase invoices onto purchase ledger.
* Handling any queries or disputes between supplier accounts on the purchase ledger.
* Matching purchase invoices to Purchase Orders, ensuring that purchase order has been correctly approved.
Required:
* Previous experience within a Purchase Ledger role.
* Experience in making payments in other currencies desirable.
* Methodical approach and superb attention to detail.
* Excellent IT Skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
