MC Personnel have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Forklift Driver! We are currently recruiting for a large and well-known company in its industry and they are on the lookout for someone to perform the role of a Transfer Operator. This role is for a Permanent Position on a day shift which is scheduled 5:45am - 6pm with 1.5 hours unpaid breaks on a 4 on 4 off pattern so candidates must be able to work weekends and be flexible if needed for overtime.
You will be required to perform the following;
Co-ordinate and transfer processed raw materials from silos to the packing lines.
Moving finished palletized goods to the warehouse.
Ensure you are using the forklift carefully and also performing routine checks when needed.
And sometimes you may be required to cover other team members when needed which can include packing, stacking and other roles that may need assistance.
Person Specification;
Candidates must have
A valid Counterbalance and have experience with driving up to 1500kg.
Must have previous in a production/manufacturing environment.
Must be able to work using their own initiative either in a team or by themselves and also follow instructions given by management.
Must have good communication skills
