Accounts Assistant job based near Maidstone £20k-£22k. High volume experience with good Excel skills

Your new company
You will be working for a growing well established organisation based in Kings Hill, near Maidstone Kent. The Accounts Assistant role will be working in one of the very busy accounts departments within this organisation.

Your new role
You will ensure all collections are allocated, reconciled and processed into the collections system. You will ensure all payments and payment files have been processed accurately and all the necessary checks performed to ensure the funds are applied to the correct customer accounts. You will ensure all queries are resolved within a 24 hours, produce weekly/monthly Excel reports for business analysis and ensure unidentified income is processed, investigated and resolved. You will complete statement reconciliations, invoice approvals and Third Party correspondence and process high volume customer refunds accurately.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need experience in an all round accounts role within a high volume fast paced environment. You will need great attention to detail and process things accurately. You will have excellent Excel skills including pivot tables and vlookups. You will have either a finance related degree or be at least AAT level 3.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary in the region of £20k - £22k dependant on experience with excellent additional company benefits.
