Our client who are a financial services company based close to West Malling are seeking to recruit a Junior Accounts Assistant. The candidate will join their team of 5 within the accounts department. Working in this busy department no two days will be the same.
Some of the job duties are:
*Process AP invoices, credit cards and employee expenses claim (code and post)
*Raise invoices/credit notes in Europe & subs
*Update MFR on monthly bases (raise royalty and marketing invoices)
*Daily Bank receipts
*Process centralised billing invoices on EMS/sage. Post all CB AP & AR. St up new clients on sage and update the EMS
*Send new license invoices
*Set up new franchisees on Sage and AD report, recurring charges and update the Europe Receipts Summary
*Check the AD report against the payment received during the month
*Update Licence Sales Summary spreadsheet with receipts and payments
*Posting Journals
*Monthly credit control
*Ad-hoc requests
Skills/Competencies/Qualifications:
*Sage desirable
*Good understanding of Microsoft word/ Excel (pivot tables and V look-ups)
*MS Outlook
*Organised/ good eye for details
Additional Comments:
*Experience using computerised accounting system
*Accuracy on inputting data
No previous finance experience is needed however the candidate must want to work within a finance team. Full training will be given on the SAGE account system too. There will also be the chance to develop and grow within the company.
