Are you interested in helping South East Water support its customers that find themselves in circumstances that make them vulnerable and want to help us make a real difference then we need you.

An exciting brand new opportunity has arisen as part of our brand new and exciting Customer Insight and Strategy department. You will be based at our Snodland office and will report into the Head of Customer Insight and Strategy but you will be working to develop our reach in our whole region of across Kent, Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire.



The Vulnerability Strategy Manager will have responsibility for leads and manages the strategy and day to day operations of our Vulnerability Strategy Team

Main objectives will include:
* Development and maintenance of our on-going vulnerability strategy whilst working with the team to ensure that our company strategy is aligned to the external needs of our region and delivery commitments
* Delivering promotion campaigns through a wide range of channels to achieve our ambitions of customers on the Priority Services Register and affordability tariffs
* Improving vulnerable customer and stakeholder satisfaction through improving accessibility and experience
* Day to day management of our Vulnerability Partnership Leads to develop partnership approaches whilst creating new and innovative approaches to delivering our objectives
* Develping and improving our relationships with all vulnerability stakeholders and partners that can affect or influence our service delivery for customers, creating collaboration partnerships for improved satisfaction using efficient and tailored approaches to our delivery commitments
* Supporting the whole business to provide our customers with tailored services that make customers resilient both for typical customers and those in more vulnerable circumstances

The successful candidates will be self-motivated, as well as having a proven track record in working to support vulnerable customers at a strategic level.



There is an expectation that you will have the following skills and competencies:

* Experience in the Third Sector in this area and ideally have an existing network of partnerships
* Understanding of the regulatory requirements that impact this role
* Strong capability to work with internal stakeholders to produce supporting strategy and documents relating to strategy and partnership agreements such as data sharing
* An ability to work as a team and exercise sound judgement in complex situations;
* Preferably educated to Degree level or to A level standard or equivalent with greater relevant experience
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
* Influential with excellent leadership capability and good supervisory skills
* Full UK driving licence

The successful candidate will be required to work between 30 - 37 hours per week. The advertised salary is based on full time hours of 37 hours per week so if the successful candidate chooses to work part time hours, the salary will be adjusted accordingly.
In return, we offer a competitive salary, a minimum of 25 days annual leave, a stakeholder pension scheme in which the maximum Company contribution is 10% and a life assurance scheme.
