Executive Administrator – Part-time
20 hours per week over at least four days £22,000 p.a. pro rata Location: Ashford, Kent
MAF is a Christian Mission which consists of ordinary men and women passionate about using their skills to bring about physical and spiritual transformation in Jesus’ name (through aviation & technology) to those living in some of the most remote and vulnerable communities in the world.
We are looking for an experienced Executive Administrator to join our team in the Ashford office. You will primarily support the Africa Regional Director and provide a variety of administrative tasks to support their workload. This position also provides some support to the Chief Finance Officer and to other management staff and departments.
Your responsibilities will include:
Generating a range of reports, letters and professional documents, and assisting with the design of presentations.
Planning and organising meetings and international conferences, including scheduling, collation and distribution of confidential papers, and arrangement of venues, travel and accommodation.
Taking the minutes of meetings and international conferences.
Helping to maintain an efficient and presentable office.
Your experience and skills will include:
Extensive PA/Administration experience supporting directors or senior management.
Experience supporting meetings and conferences, including taking minutes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail, and organisational skills.
Demonstrable IT literacy skills including having worked with Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Excel.
Being self-motivated and displaying a positive and flexible attitude with the willingness to multitask and enjoy supporting an executive team.
Willingness to travel overseas and be flexible with working hours, when required.
