Are you an experienced HR advisor?
Are you looking for some long-term temporary work to fill in some time? Our fantastic client are looking for someone to join their team on an initial 2 month basis (October-November), to cover a long term absence of their permanent staff member.
This is an exciting role where you will be able to use your excellent skills and knowledge in a great not-for-profit company! As it is a planned absence there will also be a good hand-over period between you and the permanent staff member so you are able to confidently take over the role.
In this role you will be carrying out all the duties of a HR Advisor as required including:
- Manage recruitment and resourcing activities
- Liasing with managers to draw up and job descriptions and person specifications
- Provide advice and guidance on HR policies and procedures to all staff, including induction training for new starters
- Support managers by providing professional advice as required, in line with the companies policies as well as employment law including issues such as sickness, absence, disciplinary, grievance, performance management and much more...
- Support the Head of HR and People Development and HRBP with organisational development matters including re-structuring, re-organisation and redundancy
- Stay up to date on HR matters including trends, legislation and best practice
This is a varied and demanding role so previous experience as a HR Advisor is essential to cover this role effectively!
