Could you lead and inspire staff and volunteers to deliver high quality psychological/emotional support to Hospice patients and their families and carers?
Full time (37.5 hours), part-time considered.
We provide a counselling and support service to Hospice patients who may be on the In-Patient Ward, attending Hospice Day Service or under the care of Hospice in the Home. We also provide counselling support to their family members and carers.
With a Diploma in Counselling, you will be BACP Accredited and have experience of working with grief, attachment, separation and loss and ability to use more than one theoretical approach.
You will have experience of staff management, providing supervision and balancing client work as well as the duties of leading the service and supporting the counselling team (staff and volunteers). You will be able to lead and inspire staff and volunteer counsellors to make real the Hospice core values in all they do and to advance the mission, aims and objectives of the organisation. You will also have experience working within a multidisciplinary setting with the ability to offer support to other colleagues.
