AuditWare is a highly successful small company (10 staff) with over 35 years’ experience delivering data analytics and management solutions and training to hundreds of blue chip organisations in the UK and Ireland.

We are seeking to appoint a financial administrator to take over from a retiring current occupant.

Financial Administrator Responsibilities:

• Raising sales invoices for UK, European and Rest of World customers.
• Input all purchase invoices, cost coding and payments to suppliers.
• Dealing with customer requests for statements, copy invoices and bank details, account set up questionnaires and chasing aged debtors and allocating customer payments.
• Bank reconciliation for company accounts held in the UK and Ireland.
• Preparation, submission and payment of monthly reports to Canadian and German software developers.
• Process staff expenses for cash and credit card expenses
• Organise monthly information required for the payroll company to process and set up payments of staff salaries and PAYE/NIC to HMRC.
• Run quarterly VAT reports for submission to HMRC using MTD system and make payment.
• Make quarterly submissions to HMRC
• Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly sales reports to the MD and management team.
• To include petty cash reconciliation, journal entries for salary payments, client rechargeable expenses, updates of the Director’s Loan account for the MD and data backup.
• Preparation of data to liaise with external accountants for quarterly and annual accounts reporting.
• Administer company insurance policies for motor fleet, professional indemnity, employer’s liability and commercial policies.
• Premises management – to include organisation of utilities, security and liaising with the landlords regarding property maintenance.
• Maintain company employment and H&S records and organise Contracts of Employment and induction of new starters and update personnel files.
• Manage holiday and sickness schedules.

Financial Administrator Requirements:

• Excellent understanding of Sage accounts software (Sage 50 cloud v25)
• Good working knowledge of MS Office Excel
• Own transport due to rural location (Essential)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
