JOB SPECIFICATION FOR INSTALLATION MANAGER AT ROMA INTERIORS
• Knowledge of kitchen industry would be preferable but if necessary training is available.
• The requirement to see contracts through from the start [planning], through supply and fitting and ensure that work is completed on time and to budget.
• The position will involve working on several sites with several contractors and our sub-contract fitting teams.
• The Installation Manager will be the first point of contact with our client's site managers and with our sub-contract fitters in respect of all day to day issues, including all materials and site progress.
• Good communication and reporting skills are necessary for ensuring the complete project team of the Company have current and relevant site information.
• The position also requires the candidate to have a general knowledge of Health and Safety requirements of site contracting work.
• The Installation Manager will be responsible for monitoring the progress of sub-contractors, planning critical dates, and organising appropriate deliveries and labour, as well as sourcing were necessary additional teams of sub-contract fitters.
• There will be a responsibility to agree additional and deviation to contract work along with agreeing on extra costs for this work with the client.
• There is a need to have a diplomatic approach in respect of disputes on site and to be able to resolve these to both parties' best practices smoothly.
• The main thrust of the position is to deliver a successful project with a good end product that is both satisfying for the Contracts Manager, his employer and most importantly, the end client.
• A company vehicle is supplied with the job, and the opening salary is negotiable depending on experience.
