Offer a warm welcome to all Members, Members’ guests and visitors to the golf club.

Inform golf services staff of the arrival of golfers.

Inform clubhouse staff of arrival of appointments, enquiries and deliveries.

Provide assistance to first time visitors by directing them to the clubhouse and car parks.

Direct deliveries to the relevant department on site.

Keep the front entrance of the golf club clean and tidy. Including litter picking outside the main gate.

Remain posted at the main gate until the last member of staff leaves site, then lock gates and secure clubhouse.

Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.

Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.

Monitor and authorise entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises.

Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.

Monitor CCTV system; use to gain evidence if necessary.

Call police if unauthorised persons are present and report to Duty Manager / Courses Manager if assistance is required.

Liaise with Duty Manager of clubhouse in case of emergency. Inform Duty Manager of the arrival of emergency vehicles and direct to relevant area.

During functions circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property.

Warn persons of rule infractions or violations, and apprehend or evict violators from premises if possible.

Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering.

Inspect and clean security vehicle daily, report any damage or maintenance issues to the Head of Department.
