Barker Munro recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for the expanding Pet Claims team of this respected Insurance organisation, an employer of choice in the Maidstone region.

Due to the success of their Pet Insurance Products and the continued expansion, the Claims team are recruiting additional team members.

The role involves;

Uploading claims correspondence and claim forms received onto the claims system, responding to customers’ written requests for claim forms or enquiries into the progress of their claims, and their general enquiries
Chasing documentation from customers, veterinary practices and third parties
Keeping the customer informed of progress at all times both verbally and in writing.
Taking inbound calls from customers, veterinary practices and third parties
Assisting policyholders’ with general queries over the telephone
Taking new claim request calls and registering claims over the phone
Taking inbound sales quote calls
Outbound calling for information to support claims, and returning policyholders calls where necessary

We are seeking applicants with an excellent telephone manner and good customer service skills. Any insurance or veterinary experience is an advantage or any interest in animals from college courses or just your own pets, again, highly desirable, but certainly not essential. They will also consider an A'level school leaver/college leaver if you have the right attitude and confident communication skills.

The role will involve taking 20-40 calls a day from policyholders with a pet claim and delivering 1st class customer service - it's more about the quality than the quantity

The hours are Monday - Friday 9am -5pm with 45 minute lunch break.
