Mainstream Group are pleased to be recruiting Quality & Marshalling Operatives for a large local packaging company in Sittingbourne.
As a key member of the Quality & Marshalling Team you will be primarily responsible for ensuring site safety for production quality and controlling vehicle movements of raw materials on site.
Key Responsibilities;
> Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and Environmental systems and procedures.
> Ensure plant, equipment and vehicles are fit for purpose.
> Undertake quality inspections of raw materials.
> Processing quality complaints and claims.
> Communicate clearly between delivery drivers and colleagues.
> Ensure drivers adhere to site rules.
You will ideally have experience and knowledge from within a similar role or environment where Health & Safety is paramount and where safe system procedures are adhered to without compromise. You will have a keen eye for detail and be able to report accurately whilst operating within a busy team. You will be an excellent communicator and demonstrate a proactive attitude. A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
Following a period of training and familiarisation you will be on a 4on 4off Shift pattern
Full uniform is provided.
Pay rate £9.40 per hour following training.
