Kingsdown Compressed Air Systems is recruiting an exciting position for a Service Controller to join the team and provide service support. We are seeking an enthusiastic and approachable individual to thrive within our fast-paced environment and grow alongside the business.

You will be working within the Service Team which consists of five key members and you will report directly to the Company Directors.

The hours of work are 8am – 5pm, Monday – Friday.


Duties will Include:

• Taking calls from customers (including call out requests and enquiries) and dealing with them accordingly
• Directing the six engineers between jobs (Typically 30+ jobs daily in total)
• Tracking job sheets in and out of the office
• Processing job sheets and passing to the Stores Controller ready for each job
• Assisting the Service Coordinator with diary management to ensure KPIs are met
• Supporting the rest of the Service Team during busy periods and times of absence (this may include quoting and scheduling)
• Taking on escalated issues from Service Team members and Engineers to resolve in a suitable manner
• Answering inbound calls and directing appropriately.


Individual Requirements:

• Customer service experience (within a technical industry preferred but not necessary)
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to multitask, work well under pressure and prioritise workload
• Computer literate
• Excellent telephone manner
• Hardworking and committed attitude.


The Reward Package:

• £24 – 27k, depending on experience
