Credit Controller

Rochester, Kent

£21,000 - £25,000

Our client is currently looking for a credit controller to join their busy office based in Rochester. This position will provide you with the necessary training and skills to see you develop within a well established company.

Your main responsibilities will include:

* Liaising with customers on a daily basis to ensure regular payments are being made
* Collecting cash and carrying out administration of sales ledgers accounts
* Resolving any issues on accounts
* Working towards collection targets
* Maintaining excellent working relationships with internal sales/finance teams
* Communicating effectively with external agencies, banks, collection agents, solicitors and liquidators
* Managing and prioritising personal workload

Requirements:

* Previous credit control or collections experience desirable
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
* Knowledge of UK legal system with regards to debt recovery desirable
