Brown Europe is a family run business with over 50 years industry knowledge and experience of mechanical engineering. We are looking for an electro mechanical fitter to join our team in Chatham.
The ideal candidate should have good mechanical fitting experience and electrical knowledge of both AC and DC motors. Turning, milling and fork truck licence is an advantage but not essential. This is a full time position.
Duties will include :
Fitting of mechanical parts to make geared motors from detailed technical drawings
Assembly of component parts
Working with AC/DC motors
Stripping down gearboxes for rework
Candidates should have appropriate qualifications to fulfil the role, ideally gained through an apprenticeship or other accredited scheme. Candidates should be eligible to live and work in UK.
