Apprentice/Trainee Underwriter
City of London
An in incredible opportunity for a school/college leaver to work for the number one Global P&C Lloyds syndicate located in their City of London office. This role is a training position with study support towards Cert CII Qualifications.
Key Duties:
·Learning the importance of all information entered onto underwriting pricing and aggregation systems and how to ensure this information is kept up-to-date and accurate.
·Work on ad-hoc research and project work to provide the Underwriters with information they need to make informed underwriting decisions.
·Assist with the production of full and accurate data for regular reports, meetings and committees.
·Ensuring the Underwriters and/or other colleagues are kept fully aware of any key issues and developments, so they can be proactively managed
Suitable candidates for this position will be a recent school/college leaver who achieved a minimum of an A grade in A-Level Mathematics/Economics/Physics plus two other academic subjects. BTEC also considered at D*D*D* and International Baccalaureate considered.
Minimum GCSE Mathematics and English grade A or Grade 7.
