Motor Trade Underwriter

NEW ROLE FOR 2021!
Barker Munro Recruitment Ltd have a new role for a Motor Trade Underwriter to work for a leading independent provider of specialist Motor trade insurance which has full access to Lloyds and the regional insurance markets.

Due to continued growth, our client is looking for an underwriter to join the team. The role will involve the underwriting of new and renewal business presented by the internal sales and renewal teams. The business holds DUA with a number of UK based, A rated composite Insurers and you would be expected to “hold the pen” and underwrite for each carrier. Full product training of each carriers binder will be provided but the successful candidate must have a working knowledge of the Motor Trade industry and have past underwriting experience.

We are seeking applications from candidates with either Motor trade experience or consideration will also be given to applicants with Property, liability and motor risks.
