We are recruiting for experienced Team Leaders to work with our client based in Ashford to help with the physical, social and emotional development and care of children aged 8-18 years.

Our client is passionate about their service, providing an equal for all quality service in a close-knit team, and are looking for Team Leaders who share this drive to make the difference in the young people’s lives.


Team Leader Duties:

• Leading a team of residential care staff when on shift, ensuring correct practices are adhered to.
• Ensuring safe and appropriate care practices are always maintained.
• Safeguarding and protecting the welfare of each child.
• To provide safe, warm and supportive environment to our children
• To provide fair and consistent boundaries in respect to each child’s behaviour.
• To maintain a regular system of recording in connection with each child and assist in the writing of reports when required.
• Promoting and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Delegating tasks to residential staff.
• Coordinating the daily routine of the unit.
• To attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
• To respond to emergencies which may arise within the home.
• To be available to cover, staff shortfalls and/or operational deficiencies.
• To provide a positive role model for colleagues and to children.
• Ad Hoc administrative duties.


Successful Team Leaders will encourage children to build healthy relationships and to develop a responsible attitude with regards to their surroundings and other people.

Applicants for this Support Worker role must be experienced in caring, supporting, or working with young persons and must hold at least a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.
