Our client operates a busy factory in Whitstable, with a friendly and hardworking team combining permanent and agency staff.
They are looking for a new member of staff to join the agency team on an ongoing placement. This means that there is currently no set end date for the placement, with the intention that it will be long term for the right candidate.
Work involves manual handling of materials (25kg bags), machine minding, production work, warehousing duties and use of a forklift.
You must have a forklift licence, although an in-house refresher is available.
Shifts will initially start as 08:00 - 16:00 in order to complete training (estimated 1-2 weeks, paid at £9.21/hour) and then will change to 22:00 - 06:00 ongoing thereafter (paid at £9.70 per hour). The work pattern is Monday - Friday.
If shortlisted, you will be required to attend our Herne Bay office to register with the agency and provide a copy of your FLT licence, proof of ID and proof of your National Insurance.
