This is an Opportunity for an enthusiastic First Line Technical Support engineer working within a support team.
The role would involve supporting customers with their IT Systems, including diagnosis of hardware and software issues as well as installing new software and hardware.
Candidates should have good problem solving skills, be self-motivated and able to work well as a member of a team as well as possess a good telephone manner and be able to manage good customer relationships.
We expect candidates to have excellent attention to detail and ability to keep system records up to date.
A successful candidate should have a keen interest in IT & Services and have a desire to continue to learn and develop. Qualifications would be useful but not required however there would also be an expectation to study towards industry standard qualifications.
Training will be provided on internal systems and procedures.
Skills & Experience
• Experience with Microsoft Operating Systems and Office Products
• Knowledge of TCP/IP Networking, including Routers, Firewalls and Switches.
• Ability to resolve issues with devices such as Printers and scanners.
• Good understanding of mobile devices such as iPhones, Android, iPads etc.
• Understanding of MAC OSX an advantage.
• Clean (manual) driving licence an advantage.
