We are currently working with a thriving agricultural manufacturer in Cranbrook, who is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join their growing business.

The Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for maintaining the packing center production equipment to the highest standard. You will also be required to carry out routine maintenance across various sites to ensure equipment runs smoothly.

Maintenance Assistant responsibilities will include:
-The maintenance of Production equipment
-Planned routine maintenance, daily inspections and
-Daily inspection of the building
-Conducting ad hoc maintenance work as required
-Assisting new staff with training
-Promoting Health and Safety across departments at all times
-Providing cover for staff when necessary
-Liaising with outside Maintenance Contractors

As the Maintenance Assistant, you will be able to demonstrate:

-Excellent communication skills
-Experience in Mechanical Engineering will consider individuals at various skill levels
-NVQ qualifications in Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering or similar
-Positive attitude and willingness to learn
-An Eye for problem-solving and continuous improvement
