Science Teacher needed in Medway from January 2020.
Your new role
Hays Education are a market leader with established and exclusive partnerships with schools across Kent. This secondary school is based in the Medway area with good local transport links. The school have approached Hays seeking a Science Teacher to start in January 2020
Joining the school after the Christmas break, you will join a well led, forward-thinking Science department with a track record of good results at KS4 and 5. You will plan and prepare lessons and be required to complete the marking and assessment of pupils work. You will be teaching pupils of various abilities ensuring the pupils are engaged and fulfilling their learning objectives. As this is a long term role, you will also be attending parents evenings and additional school functions.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have QTS/QTLS or be a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) and have experience with teaching in the UK Curriculum up to KS4. You will be passionate about student progress and committed to helping pupils achieve their academic potential. You will be available to start in January 2020 and continue on a long term basis.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will be paid a competitive daily rate and will gain experience working within a successful Science Department. You will be supported by both the department and SLT, as well as your dedicated Hays Consultant. You will also join our Hays Refer a Friend Scheme where you could be entitled to receiving £250 in high street vouchers
