Location: Folkestone and Hythe
Hours: 33.5 hours per week
Salary: £21,797 per annum (£24,400 full time equivalent)
Contract: Fixed Term until 30/09/2020

The Role: This role is in our family support team. You will provide practical and emotional support to families in Folkestone and Hythe, helping them to overcome any difficulties they are facing. A big part of this role is helping young people become more resilient to challenges in their lives so they can achieve their full potential - whether that's in school, work or everyday life. By helping families to work on their strengths and address their needs, we give everyone the opportunity to become an active and productive member of their community.
The role requires:
•Good communication and people skills, especially with younger people
•Experience of working with families
•Experience of motivational interviewing
•A full driving licence and access to a car (subject to the provisions of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 and Equality Act 2010).
