We have an exciting opportunity for a talented, Quality Controller to join our highly experienced team. This challenging role requires a pro-active, solution based individual with good initiative, excellent commercial judgement and superb attention to detail.

The Quality Controller is responsible for ensuring our customers receive products that adhere to, or surpass, their expectations from a total quality perspective, and will need to be totally focussed on achieving excellent results.

The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate a broad understanding of flexography as a printing process and colour matching processes, in addition to an excellent understanding of working within a Quality Management System {BRC/ISO9001/FSC}.
The role will also involve trialling of new raw material product and have responsibilities in several other technical specialist areas.

Swan Mill Paper Company is a well established UK leader in the manufacture and supply of quality tableware, catering disposables, Christmas crackers and decorations produced under the Swantex brand as well as own label.
As part of the Quality Control team you will be responsible for ensuring the company is never exposed from a quality perspective.

The role requires the business to be covered over a 24 hour period made up of 8 hour shifts including nights on a rotating rota Monday - Friday. In return we are offering a salary of £27,771.00, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, company pension and subsidised private health care.
