Venrec are pleased to be recruiting for a New Business Development Salesperson on behalf of our client, a well established IT managed service support business based in Maidstone. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established company.
The role entails;
• Managing existing clients to ensure that the best service is being provided and that all needs are being met
• Research organisations in order to find new business opportunities
• Contact potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings
• Contacting prospective clients through targeted marketing campaigns including: cold calls, social media, marketing emails etc.
• Attending networking events
• Meeting with potential clients to discuss services that are provided, demonstrating a high understanding of the different products and services that the company offer
• Developing relationships with current and potential clients
• Creating quotes and proposals for new clients
• Demonstrating how the products/services will operate within a potential clients existing solution.
A successful candidate will have the following skills and experiences;
• Experience working in an IT Managed Service Provider environment
• Proven experience generating new sales and account managing current clients
• Strong communication and people skills would be essential
• Being self motivated and proactive
