We are Parentkind, a leading charity that supports and champions all the ways parents can participate in education. We are the leading membership organisation for Parent Teacher Associations in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. We also provide training and support to teachers, governors and parents to build successful home-school relationships. We are looking for a Social Media & PR Executive to join our Head Office in Tonbridge, Kent.

Who you are: We are looking for someone with experience in both PR and Social media who is passionate about communication. You will be an excellent writer with exemplary grammar, spelling and attention to detail, able to identify opportunities for positive PR that furthers the aims of Parentkind and builds our brand profile.

The role:

The Social Media and PR Executive will support the delivery of Parentkind’s marketing and communications strategy. Reporting into the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will be responsible for developing and posting fresh and sharable content for social media, our website and blog, drafting press releases, newsletters, video scripts and other copy to support the various internal teams within the organisation.

The successful candidate will possess strong creative copywriting skills and a design-led approach, ensuring that all communications are outward facing, accurate, on time and on brand.

Job Type: Full-time (35 hours a week), permanent

Salary: £21,000 -£23,000 per year depending on experience, plus attractive benefits package.
