A very exciting opportunity has a risen for a Part Qualified Accountant to join a highly reputable business as their Head of Finance.

This position is initially a temporary assignment; however there is a strong possibility of the role being made permanent.

The key aspect to this role will be to support the Director Of Finance and provide financial and management accounting services for the organisation. This will include management of the budget, payroll, credit control and the accounts payable function.

The ideal individual will be a Part Qualified Accountant with strong experience managing a team.



Key Responsibilities:

* Co-ordinate the annual budget preparation in consultation with the Director of Finance.
* Liaise with all budget mangers to receive appropriate information and their advice when preparing budgets for the business.
* Ensure the production of accurate and timely monthly management accountants.
* Manage and maintain the organisations financial performance management reporting framework.
* Ensure the production of KPI's for the Directors and the Board.
* Promote and adhere to the financial control environment specifically based in the maintenance of all financial regulations.
* Responsible for the management and administration of the organisation core financial IT systems.
* Ensure the integrity of all data held within the financial systems.
* Take the lead with recommending improvements to the organisations financial processes.
* Manage and maintain organisations payroll function.

Person Specification & Experience:

* Ability to manage and motivate a team
* Ensure effective use of staff resources.
* Proficient use of Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.
* Knowledge and understanding of health & safety.
* Experience managing budgets.
* Experience reporting into Directors and Key stakeholders.
* Strong ability to prioritise.



This is a temporary assignment for 2/3 months with potential to go permanent.

Salary £20 to £25 per hour.
