We are currently working with a leading engineering consultancy that are technically renowned who are looking to recruit for a Rail Civil Structural Design Engineer being based in Kent, specifically Ashford.
As the Design Engineer will report to the Associate Director in which you’ll work with Senior Engineers, Graduates and Technicians in the efficient and effective delivery of projects in the Civils/Structure and potentially Bridge field, in producing engineering designs and studies for a range of railway infrastructure projects.
Within the role you may be involved throughout the life of a project and be expected to be involved in investigation, survey, feasibility, optioneering, preliminary and detailed design and then provide site support during construction.
This is a great opportunity for an Assistant Rail Civil Engineer or experienced Graduate Rail Civil Structural Design Engineer looking to make that next step up into an Engineering position.
As mentioned, this position is based in Kent, specifically Ashford so could suit candidates in the surrounding areas such as Maidstone, Canterbury etc.
Job Requirements
• Experience of designing and checking rail civil or structural engineering deliverables.
• Experience in the use of Eurocodes.
• Experience in the use of computer analysis programs.
• Experience of Rail civil or Structural engineering design principles and standards.
