Our client, a Multi-Academy Trust based in Chatham is looking to recruit a commercially astute Management Accountant to join their team on an permanent basis. With the scope to become a permanent post, this role will suit someone with prior experience within education in a Management Accountant capacity.
Due to the nature of the role it is essential that you have exposure to working wtihin an education environment.
Key Accountabilities:
- Drive the month-end forecasting process
- Take ownership of budgeting
- Oversee the month-end management accounts with analysis and commentary
- Support the transactional team by acting as a point of escalation for any issues
- Consolidation of forecasting and compile monthly pack for presentation to senior leadership team
- Ad hoc responsibilities as required
The role will suit a Management Accountant with experience of working within education and with the ability to work with autonomy. PS Financials experience will be highly advantageous.
