Our client is the world’s leading supplier of software to the professional accountant. They are a growing, profitable business serving clients of all sizes, from FTSE 100 companies to local firms.

Due to continuous growth our client is seeking to recruit an additional member of the Marketing Team to enhance the existing plan and strategy and to support the team with the upcoming launch of cloud products.

You will become their data champion, ensuring their marketing database is fit for purpose to support their ambitious growth plans. In addition, you will help drive the upcoming launch of new products through a wide range of the promotional and marketing mix.

Your skills & experience

The ideal candidate will have good communication and computer skills, be a team player, but also enjoy working on their own initiative and to deadlines with a passion to learn from an experienced marketing team.

Having a flexible “can do” approach, the successful candidate will enjoy handling a variety of tasks and challenges at the same time.

You are likely to have:

· An attention to detail and accuracy
· Excellent proof-reading skills
· Strong inter-personal skills and ability to work as a team
· An aptitude for learning new skills
· Excellent time management and organisational skills
· Experience in the Adobe Creative Suite would be desirable, but not required

Primary responsibilities
To work closely with the marketing team to support them with the delivery of a busy marketing plan.

· Data champion - responsible for maintaining and developing the marketing database including:
o Data research, de-duplication and data input and the cleansing of existing data
o Segmentation and provision of data for telemarketing and direct marketing campaigns as defined by the Marketing Manager
o Managing incoming data and enquiries from lead generation campaigns, cleaning, sorting, distributing and inputting on the database for the telemarketing and sales teams.
· Social media - to manage the company’s social media presence and building its audiences as directed by marketing strategy (Twitter, LinkedIn)
· Website - maintaining website (uploading new articles, images and video) and implementing improvements to increase user engagement
· Event organisation - be the key person within the marketing team responsible for the execution of external and company-produced client and marketing events
o Research and proposals of annual event attendance and sponsorship packages
o Organise customer events and liaise with other departments where necessary
o Show attendance where required
o Liaison with external stand design companies where required
· Assistance with the advertising schedules, ensuring that advertisements are designed and submitted within deadline.
· Provision of promotional items - Stock check, ordering and approving artwork
· Create and maintain a report on competitor activity
· Campaign work - including, but not limited to; identification of key target audiences, campaign planning, creation of material, distribution and follow up
· Managing incoming data and enquiries from lead generation campaigns, cleaning, sorting, distributing and inputting on the database for the business development team.
· Proof-reading content where required, prior to public distribution
· Basic use of the Adobe Suite - i.e. Photoshop and InDesign - training provided if necessary.
