My client is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and adaptable Warehouse Operative with a 'can do’ attitude to assist with the day to day picking, packing and general warehouse duties. Come and join the friendly team who are a leading company specialising in the distribution of fixings, fasteners and supply of equipment to the building trade across London and the South East.
The Job
The job involves working fixed shifts of 12pm to 10pm subject to the business needs and occasional overtime may be required to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Picking, packing and despatching orders
General housekeeping duties
Working as a team member
Annual and random Stocktaking
Attention to detail when completing tasks
Flexibility with ability to adapt to change
Manual handling
Loading and unloading vehicles
Compliance with health and safety and security procedures
Skills and experience
2+ years experience within a warehouse environment
Honest, reliable and dedicated
Meticulous attention to detail
FLT licenses preferred
Computer literate
Calm head with initiative to solve problems
Knowledge of logistics advantageous
