Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Buyer to join a busy and fast paced team in North Kent.
Duties for this role include:
* Sourcing packaging and ancillary goods
* Negotiating all aspects of the purchase of products and services
* Maintaining specifications of current products
* Creating supplier files and analysing supplier performance
* Stock control including plans for stock
* Effective maintenance of relationships
* Forecasting of deliveries
* Ensuring all suppliers are compliant
* Occasional travel where necessary
The successful candidate will have/be:
* Experienced working within a goods Buying or Purchasing role
* Detail orientated with strong attention to detail
* Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with Excel
* Have good communication skills at all levels.
* Commercially aware
* Experience of dealing with overseas suppliers
