My client within the PR sector is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their expanding team. This is a great opportunity to join a fun, innovative company as they begin their growth plans for 2020.
Purpose of the role:
As an Account Manager you will be responsible for driving an account by implementing strategies detailed by the Account Director. You will ensure all objectives are being met and your accounts are well organised and managed effectively.
Responsibilities and expectations:
* Ensuring that account management is of the highest quality
* Leading meetings and ensuring all preparation for meeting is well organised and everyone is briefed before
* Developing relevant business contacts and building successful working relationships
* Understanding the financial controls on all accounts including budgeting procedures and mark-ups where appropriate
* Leading presentations and business pitches
* Proactively seeking new business and publicity opportunities for your accounts
* Confidently liaising with journalists and other media professionals
* Planning and managing events including workshops, press conferences, photoshoots on behalf of clients
* Advising your clients on how to handle and manage media enquiries
* Advising clients on any risky PR situations
* Writing business proposals with the assistance of the Account Director
* Writing press releases
* Analysing research from focus groups

This is a full time role paying between £26,000 - £32,000 per annum.
