Database Analyst - SQL - Central London - Up to £35,000 plus benefits

I currently have an exciting opportunity to join a business that has undergone constant expansion over the last few years with the view to continue into 2020.

They're currently looking for a Database Analyst with strong SQL skills to provide marketing & customer analysis, producing financial reports and insights and using data across the business to drive positive change.

The role will be based in London, with some remote working from home and some travel to South Hampton on occasion.

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Liaising with a variety of stakeholders to fully understand data content
* Process, analyse and manipulate customer, marketing and financial data sets
* Tackling problems confidently and formulating solutions
* Data manipulation and exploratory analysis
* Prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools
* Working on several projects simultaneously

Skills & Experience:

* Proven experience as a Data Analyst or SQL Database engineer
* Strong SQL database experience
* Experience with Power BI or equivalent tools
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to be self motivated

Desirable:

* Advanced Excel skills

* Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio
* Familiar with Microsoft teams/outlook advantageous
* Familiar with Crystal Reports Advantageous
