A 6 month contract has become available at one of Thanet's most reputable company's within the Product Safety Department.

We are looking for a Product Safety Administrator who ideally has knowledge of the AS400 system (although not essential as training can be given.) You must also have experience within a legal/compliance environment and have an interest in regulatory affairs.

Working Monday-Friday 0830-1700, you will be joining the Product Safety department to ensure that the business complies with all product safety and global legislation. The role requires someone who has a keen eye for detail and the willingness to work as part of a team as the role involves helping shape the legislative framework process to find workable and compliant business solutions.

The role will also involve reviewing, co-ordinating and creating technical data related to hazardous assessment, preparation of hazard labelling and provision of product safety documentation. You will be required to maintain the company's product safety information systems including a customer Extranet site, co-ordination of product safety enquiries and other associated admin duties.

The ideal candidate will be educated to A level standard (or equivalent) with an interest in regulatory affairs. You will be articulate and competent in using IT systems, ensuring data is maintained in accordance with the relevant legislation.

As this is a busy role, you will have good time management skills with an organised approach and excellent communication skills. Experience of working with a technical/compliance environment would be of interest to our client.
