A highly successful Accountancy Practice based in Canterbury is looking to recruit a part time Accountant.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Bookkeeper who has experience working within Accountancy and Payroll ideally within an Accountancy Firm.
Responsibilities:
* Posting of receipts and payments on a daily basis
* Paying suppliers invoices by cheque or BACS on a weekly basis
* Posting of disbursements
* Posting of fees and journals once a month
* Reconciling the bank account on a weekly basis
* Working VAT knowledge
* Reviewing work from our outsourcing firm SMC
* Posting of suppliers invoices on a regular basis
* Liaising with clients on a daily basis
Person Specification
* Looking to work 3 or 4 days a week
* Experience with Payroll
* Ideally worked within a Accountancy Practice
* Experienced Bookkeeper
* Strong communication skills
* Experience using Accountancy Software
* Strong Excel skills
Part time working 3 days a week.
Salary up to £22K FTE.
