Farrer Barnes is working with a Financial Services business based in North Kent.  This organisation is an international company with millions of customers worldwide.  They are looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to join them and reporting directly into the Head of Finance.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

- Deliver all internal and external financial reporting.
- Work in cross-functional collaboration to balance functional goals with what is best for the enterprise.
- Play the lead financial role for major projects and establish good working relationships with a number of stakeholders across the organisation.
- Manage and develop a small Finance Reporting team
- Improve documentation of finance processes
- Develop the Business Plan process to include high quality and relevant management information in the format required by UK business and International Head office
- Drive the Business Plan process to ensure that it is consistent in format and numbers with the current reporting and all necessary controls and governance have been complied with
- Maintain a good understanding of the UK Group`s strategic direction and impact on operational management and performance reporting needs
- Develop capital management processes with actuarial and investment team
- Work closely with other Senior departmental heads to deliver Business Plans.
- Monitor, report and consider management actions relating to finance risks with regards to risk appetite

 
Ideally this candidate will be fully qualified with a practice background preferably from one of the big 4 firms.  They should have an understanding of IFRS and Solvency II reporting and they should be familiar with FCA regulated environments.
