A temporary part-time Credit Controller is sought to join the Fleet Retail Group Ltd., a friendly and dynamic company in Rochester, currently in the early stages of major international expansion.
Main Responsibilities:
• Ownership of the sales ledger, as defined by the Financial Controller.
• Chasing payment of debts, through telephone calls, emails, letters and statements.
• Working on relationships with key customers.
• Regular review of debtor status with the Directors and the Financial Controller.
• Posting of cash / banking / credit card receipts.
• Liaise with the sales team as and when required for the effective management of credit accounts.
• Investigate discrepancies on customer accounts, including liaising with the Operations Invoicing team to resolve.
• Chasing remittance advices for payments received without remittance.
• Preparing and distributing sales information for the sales team.
• Assistance with other accounting work in a busy accounts department as required
