Assistant to the Executive Management Team

ACB Ltd, based on the 20/20 near Aylesford, are seeking a dedicated Assistant to join their senior management team.

You will work closely with the Executive Management Team and need to be extremely well organised with an exceptional attention to detail.
You will be used to working to tight deadlines and have strong communication skills, both verbal and written. You will have a personable nature and be able to liaise comfortably on the Executive Management Team’s behalf with government bodies, as well as smaller institutions.

Mandatory requirements (these will be verified during selection):

• Non-smoker, ACB is a non-smoking company
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, Word, Excel and Outlook as a minimum
• Fluent in English with excellent grammar
• Clear and legible handwriting
• GCSE educated or equivalent in English Language and Mathematics
• Full drivers’ licence with own transport
• Over 25 years of age. This is an insurance requirement for company vehicles
• Eligible to work full time in the UK

Role will include, but is not limited to:

• Project management
• Tender documentation preparation
• Some facilities management, including safety equipment
• Updating vital departmental spreadsheets and bespoke database systems
• Undertaking internet-based research projects as required, reporting the relevant information
• Diary management, including hotel research and bookings both in the UK and overseas
• Organising and attending industry specific exhibitions
• Periodic off-site or overnight stays (predominantly UK mainland)
• Supporting the Quality Team in the delivery of in-house compliance and process audits

Desirable:

• Knowledge of ISO quality standards and auditing
• Building and facility management experience
• Shorthand and speed typing

Working hours:

Typically 8.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday, although hours are negotiable for the right person.

Payment and benefits:

From £28,000 per annum pro rata depending upon experience
Health insurance (after qualifying period)
30 days holiday including bank and public holidays per year
NEST Pension contributions (if eligible)
