Position: Interim HR Manager
Salary: £18 - £20 per hour
We are looking to recruit an interim HR Manager for an East London based school.
You will have previous School/Academy experience and be able to manage the day-to-day issues and running of the HR dept.
The school has around 170 staff.
The role is supported by an HR Officer.
We are looking for someone who can lead on:
- Monthly payroll
- Day-to-day issues
- Advice and support to line managers/staff
- Single Central Register
- Recruitment lead
- Oversee the performance management process
- Advise SLT and the Principal on HR issues.
The Academy is in the process of joining a Multi Academy Trust, so any experience of TUPE would be useful.
The role reports into the Vice Principal of Resources, but will liaise closely with the Principal, other VPs and SLT on staffing issues.
We are looking for someone who has good management experience, and a hands-on `doer`.
The interim role will extend to 1st September, with some possibility of extension beyond this.
The rate is based on the equivalent of a full-time salary in the range £35k to £38k.
Ideally, we would like to have the successful candidate in place week commencing 23rd March.
