Johnsons Garden Buildings are Kent’s largest independent retailer and installer of top-quality garden rooms and timber buildings. We currently have 13 display villages, all situated in busy garden centres across Kent, Surrey, Essex, London and Hampshire exhibiting our vast range of our popular garden buildings. We specialise in offering our customers the perfect space solution, whether it’s for a home office, family chill out room, gym or even the more traditional summerhouse.

Due to continuous expansion and growth we are looking to recruit two painters/decorators. One based at our Gillingham, Kent and Wickford, Essex branches.

The successful individuals will be required to paint and carry out maintenance on our cabins across all current and future sites to ensure they are kept in excellent condition, you will also be expected to assist in the maintenance and upkeep of our various offices.

Due to the nature of the role, you will need to have the ability to work on your own and as part of a team, display a good attitude towards both colleagues and customers and have a strong work ethic.

Key Skills

• Previous Painting & Decorating experience
• DIY/General Maintenance skills
• Full driving licence
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail and take pride in your work

Package

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday 8.00am – 5.00pm
• Tools supplied
• Competitive Salary depending on experience
• Pension after 3 months
• 28 days holiday
